Why "Knowing What To Do"

Isn't Enough.

And why most wellness plan fall apart in real life.

Most health plans are build for ideal conditions - consistent schedules, predictable energy, and endless willpower.

But real life doesn't work that way.

When routines break and stress increases, its easy to think you're the problem. The truth is, the plan never fit you and your life in the first place.

So What's Missing?

Most wellness approaches focus on behavior first — assuming your body, life, and energy will eventually catch up.

Undoxa was created to flip that model — by starting with understanding instead of pushing compliance when things don’t work.

We start by understanding how your body responds, how your life actually works, and what support looks like when things aren’t perfect.

So what does an approach like this look like in the real world — especially for someone who has already tried so many things that didn’t stick.

The Human Behind Undoxa

Meet Laura Timbrook NBC-HWC, CHC.

Undoxa exists because real wellness doesn’t fit into neat little boxes.

I built Undoxa after years of working with people who were doing everything “right” — eating better, moving more, managing stress — and still feeling like they were failing.

Not because they weren’t trying hard enough.
But because the systems they were given didn’t fit the reality of their lives.

This is the work behind the work.

Why I build Undoxa

Undoxa wasn’t born out of wellness trends.

It was born out of frustration — the kind so many people feel when they know what to do, but can’t seem to make it stick.

I watched people get trapped in one-size-fits-all plans that worked for a moment… then fell apart when life changed.

Shift work. Long hours. Caregiving. Stress that doesn’t clock out.

Real life doesn’t follow ideal routines — and wellness advice rarely accounts for that.

The industry’s answer was almost always the same:

Try harder. Be more disciplined. Add another app.

But the truth was obvious to me.

The problem wasn’t effort. It was fit.

  • You don't need more willpower

  • You need habits that fit you and your life.

I watched so many of my clients struggle even though they were doing “all the things.”

I saw how unpredictable schedules, long shifts, and constant stress made it nearly impossible to follow rigid plans — even for the most motivated people.

I’ve always believed in working smarter, not harder. And I knew there had to be a better way than guessing, starting over, or blaming effort.

That’s why I created the Health Blueprint — to stop taking shots in the dark, and start building habits based on what actually fits your body and your life.

My Background

I’m a board-certified health and wellness coach with years of experience working at the intersection of individual health, corporate wellness, and real-world behavior change.

My work has included:

  • Supporting shift workers and non-traditional schedules

  • Coaching busy professionals navigating stress, sleep, and burnout

  • Working with organizations to approach wellness in more human, sustainable ways

My Books:

My writing reflects the same philosophy behind Undoxa:
meet people where they are, remove the pressure to be perfect, and build habits that actually last.

These books were written to be used in real life — not just read once and set aside.

Undo. Rebuild. Sustain.

This isnt just my story. Its a philosophy that guides everything we do at Undoxa Health.

Let's take the first step together.
